While exploring this area, we unexpectedly found Hammerheads. Initially, the appearance may not impress, but the warm and welcoming staff, including Mitch and Neicy, made us feel right at home. The food was outstanding; the chowder, a winner of a chowder contest, and the Hammerhead's club sandwich, a massive and delicious treat, were particularly memorable. My experiences at Hammerhead's Oyster Bar have included enjoying their diverse lunch options, such as custom Deli sandwiches and a unique salad bar, savoring delectable dinners like the Steam Pot and scallops, and organizing successful private parties with mouthwatering dishes like steak, shrimp and grits, and scallops with bacon jam. The only downside is that Hammerheads is not open every night, so make sure to arrive early on the nights they are open to beat the crowd.
