great food

We visited the Causeway Grill last night for the first time in a couple years. As usual the food was excellent and our waitress was lousy. When we first walked in, she said "Can I help you?". I thought that was odd because of course you can help...we came for supper, it's a restaurant. Then when we got our food she sat it down and walked away so fast we couldn't ask for another beer. She never came back for anything, so no more drinks. Truly crappy waitress. When she said she'd bring our check, we waited a while and finally got up and went to the front and paid. They didn't have a packed house, so she could have come back. Next time, I'll call and go pick it up because the food is good. By the way, we went out for drinks afterwards and told other locals where we ate and they asked "Was your service bad?" I guess that's the reputation they have...Good Food...Crappy Service.
