There's something charming about sitting down for a breakfast cooked by the owner herself, with grits just like grandma used to make and a bacon cheeseburger that hits all the right comfort food notes. This local diner offers an authentic southern breakfast experience that is hard to find elsewhere, even in North Carolina. The food is fresh and delicious, especially the grits and the bacon cheeseburger, and the service is friendly and accommodating. Despite its unassuming location next to a gas station, the atmosphere is welcoming and makes you feel right at home.
