It was the best Mexican food ever. I have wished that somehow we could get the recipes. Texas taco or mixed dish.

the burrito plate and texa taco are amazing never been able to find anywhere else that can deplicate it....would love to know the recipe.....maybe dolores,sister or one of her son's may see this post one day and be gracious enough to give us the recipe since no one else can duplicate it

:-( Used to eat here waaaayyy back in the mid-80's when I lived in Asheville. So sad to hear they've closed. Born and raised in Los Angeles Ca., I can testify to the authenticity of their exquisite down home Mexican food. Nice owners and great food kept me coming back for the decade and a half I lived in that wonderful town.

The burrito plate is amazing! Honest to goodness Mexican food with homemade pepper sauce that is tongue torch hot!! If you ask, she will add a few french fries that go so well with the burrito. The texas taco is just a huge burrito, so you better be starved when you order that one.

Delores is the best waitress, but remember no menus only the one on the wall.
