Food? Eh. Not only was my order wrong (how do you mistake pork for chicken?) but the chicken was dry and a stringy mess. The three, teeny, tiny hush puppies that were served with my meal were a joke. Tasty? Yes. The size of a dime? Yes. My husband seemed to enjoy his food but he wasn't overly impressed either.

Service? AWFUL. It wasn't busy and our server maybe come to our table all of one time and that was to take our order. The place was mostly deserted except for the people drinking on the shady looking patio that Ruby's is installing. She never checked on us and I begged my husband not to leave a tip since she definitely didn't do anything to deserve it. Maybe she was overly busy, you say. Perhaps, if you define busy as continually interacting with someone who is obviously personally connected to you and is not a paying customer (our guess was that he was her S.O.). Also, the atmosphere is not that great. There were some little kids running free and barefoot while their mom disappeared into the men's room with some dude. Oh, and did I mention that it took an HOUR plus for us to get our food? It was ridiculous. It was a Wednesday night for pete's sake.

A very disappointing experience. Save yourself the misery and eat somewhere else.
