My wife and I have eaten there twice.
We had the bad luck of getting the same
waitress each time.She looks like a rhino with a bad attitude.
She undoubtedly hates her job. The drinks are very expensive compared to other restaurants,
nd they even charge $1.25 for a refill to go.
Two days after eating at Mammy's, we ate at
Mom's on up Highway 321 toward Lenoir.
The food was less expensive and the waitresses
were very nice and attentive.
When we were leaving Mom's, our waitress asked
if we would like a drink to go. We asid yes and
it was no charge.
At Mom's, my wife had 2 vegetables with her meal,
plus a dessert, peach cobbler,
and I had 3 vetetables with mine.
The food was much better at Mom's than at
Mammy's.
Why anyone would eat at Mammy's , I can't imagine.
We eat out every meal, and if we had to eat
eat at Mammy's, we'd eat at home.
If we'd eaten at Mammy's once it might have
just been a fluke, but twice means that's the
way they are all of the time and that's
not good at all.
I had to give the one-star rating, they didn't
have a no-star rating.
EAT ELSEWHERE !!

Loved the home cooking.Cozy little place right on 321 in Granite Falls.
My wife loves their Flounder.
