I've been a regular customer for years and the food has always impressed me. While it can get a bit hectic during busy times, it's all part of the lunch hour fun - and hey, at least you know they've got your order covered before you even find a seat! The steak udon stir fry was absolutely delicious, and I'd suggest adding crab rangoons to the menu and maybe setting up a call-in ordering system with a drive-thru speaker for even more convenience.

My son in law picked up my order and brought it to our house. My broccoli was clearly old and black/ in color at the stem. Nasty! I called & the girl said, I'm so sorry we have never had that problem before and our food is sold so fast. I told her i would gladly send her a picture. She replied, we can make you a fresh order if you want to bring it back. It's 8 at night ok let me drive all the way to Lenoir from the Burke county line. I guess when they say check your order before you leave they really mean it... i guess my son-in-law should have picked through our food to make sure they didn't put old nasty broccoli in it. Really disappointed in them!

I got the teriyaki chicken plate yesterday and when I got it home the chicken looked like it had mold and tasted old and nasty...that night I was up all night with food poisoning. This also happened to my sister. I will not be back there again.

Nara Express in Lenoir is by far the best Japanese Restaurant around! Great food, fast service with southern hospitality that keeps you coming back for more! Few places seem to have this outstanding combination in the food industry. Will definitely come back time and time again. A must try if you haven't!
