We've been ordering bbq and slaw from the bbq pit for many years. The bbq is always a favorite with everyone we know who loves bbq. The price is very reasonable and the owner is very nice.

The chopped pork BBQ available at The BBQ Pit is delicious when heated up on the stove with a bit of water, and the accompanying BBQ sauce is exceptional. The establishment offers only three items for takeout - chopped pork BBQ, fresh coleslaw, and a fantastic Eastern NC vinegar-based sauce, all of which are prepared with care and attention to detail.
