I can remember going to Claremont Cafe since I was 5 years old. I remember the breaded and fried pork chop and steak sandwiches. Oh and don't forget the roast pork with lettuce and tomato. But the BEST is their cheese bugger all the way, slaw, chili and onions. They were delicious in 1956 and still delicious today 2019. We have traveled from Statesville for 63 wears and will continue to make the trip every week now that I am retired. I have witnessed three generation of family members at the cafe. Hope everyone will enjoy your visit to the cafe as I have all these years.
