First off, the pizza a Frankies is nothing special. its frequently greasy and soggy

But the thing that amazes me is the stunningly bad service I have recieived at this establishment on numerous occasions. What is Frankies secret to this rotten customer service you may ask? Its letting the place be run by kids in their teens and early 20s with zero supervision and no customer service training. Bad services comes from the top down.

Here's a prime example. I go in tonite saying yet again I may give them another shot. The lights are on, OPEN sign ablaze, and at least 8 inside customers eating. Its 9:25pm and I did not notice that they closed at 9:30pm. I go to counter and this young girl comes up with her pad. Im looking at menu when she states: " I hope you dont want pizza 'cuz I dont think he (I assume the chef) wont make anymore" I say: "What can I get" The dubious response: "I dunno"

So as Im looking at the lighted menu above the counter, the Mexican chef walks out from behind the counter and switches the sign off rendering it unreadable! I tell the girl that I assumes this means I can get nothing. I suggested she inform her manager of this rude action.

My suggestion, dont go to Frankies. The food is mediocre at best and the service is awful and has not changed since it opened. That New York "attitude" air gets lame over time.

Ordered 2 spaghetti plates and was told there would be a 30 minute wait time. Over an hour later and after having to call twice the food finally arrived. The meatballs were burnt in what I would presume was an attempt to keep the food warm. The drivers story did not match up with what the order taker had told us. Would not recommend.
