Compadres in Siler City is my reliable spot for satisfying Mexican cuisine. While the dishes are quite typical, their guacamole truly stands out with its delicious flavor. The service can be a bit inconsistent, but it's decent enough to keep me returning. The evolving interior, with intricate tile work, adds a touch of uniqueness, though some areas may appear unfinished. Overall, a visit for their shrimp with rice dish is a good choice, complemented by their solid cheese dip. The fish tank is a nice distraction for kids during the wait, making it a decent option for a casual and tasty meal.

I found a live fly that was upside down in my salad. The waitress apologize and gave me another salad. I didn't eat it because all I could think about is rather it was a new salad or the same salad.
When I was asked how was everything, I mention the fly in my salad. All I got was an apology but no discount or anything else. I definitely will not be going back to this restaurant again.

I know accidents happen but it is how you about making things right that counts. I wasn't satisfied by their response to the incident.
