The chicken empanadas with hot sauce and slaw are incredible and only $2, which is a steal for the quality. The ladies working there were really sweet and helpful, and although the place isn't the cleanest and the staff can sometimes be a bit rough, the authentic Salvadorian flavors in the pupusas and horchata more than make up for it. You'll find the bakery right when you walk in and a small food selection behind glass, with fresh pupusas made to order, all at very affordable prices-even if you have to ask for them.

I enjoyed chicken empanadas with hot sauce and slaw for just $2, which were incredibly tasty for the price. The staff was helpful and sweet, even though we communicated in Spanglish since there was no English spoken. While the cleanliness could use some improvement, the authentic Salvadorian flavors of the pupusas and horchata made it all worthwhile.
