The soul food at Mr. Charles and Sons is simply unmatched, with flavors that transport you to a place of pure comfort and satisfaction. Despite a few minor hiccups in my recent visit, the overall experience of indulging in their hearty dishes was truly worth every moment and I can't wait to return for more.

I had guest from out of town who stopped in and placed 3 take out orders. When they got my house and opened the the box I was surprise that the only thing that looked like it came from Mr. Charles Chicken & Fish at the Cambridge location was the wings. The other chicken was overcooked, the mac & cheese was dry. I was shocked because I've dinned there and my meal was always good. They also told me that an alarm was going off inside but no one seemed concerned when 2 fire trucks pulled up. Now I have to take them somewhere else to eat. Sorry I couldn't give you a better rating.
