This classic southern seafood restaurant has always satisfied my craving for fried fish, with friendly staff and reasonable prices. Although I've had a couple of mix-ups with my order lately, the quality and freshness of the food, especially the catfish and hush puppies, keep me coming back for more.

The service here is absolutely untouchable in a family style restaurant. The Cole slaw is really good. My husband and I ate there today. We both ordered Shrimp and Oysters because I didn't eat fried oysters and he cannot eat shrimp. He had the oysters and there were plenty of them. He said the breading lacked seasoning and I will have to say the same about the fried shrimp. I just kept adding salt to them and my husband, who should not have much salt did too. I get the reduced salt for customers with HBP, but Tony's makes a salt free variety and black pepper, garlic, onion does not add sodium. There are other many seasonings other than salt that could have been used to add flavor to the batter. The hush puppies were really good and the baked potato was just what I needed. Being from Louisiana, the cocktail sauce needs more horseradish and of course we didn't expect Tabasco to be there. The place is clean and when we left there was a waiting line of guest. We will return another day but I think I will take some seasoning with us. I will say it again the service was the best around.

The seafood restaurant serves classic fried dishes with friendly service and reasonable prices. While not perfect, it offers a satisfying meal with fresh flavors and ample portions.

The food is delicious and well prepared. They have a variety of options to choose from. The wait time isn't long & the owners & staff are very customer friendly. Great service!

I eat at Hudson Bay every Friday night with my family. The food is cooked to order and perfect every time. The waitresses are very friendly and helpful. When checking out the staff at register is so friendly and treat you like family. The lady , Linda at register always tells us to BE BLESSED. We love that very much.

Tonight we decide to go to a Seafood House that we have not been to in years, that use to be out Friday night family supper time. We all meet there and ate. Well, we will never go back there again. Our bill was twice the amount it is at Hudson Bay and the food was not good at all. Please forgive us. Your for sure Our Home Seafood House.

For a busy Saturday night we were seated rather quickly.
The waitress was attentive, friendly and the food and prices left us wanting to return with friends.

We have lived here for many, many years and have driven by this place always saying, "We need to try it out sometime." Well to make a long story short, we finally did and boy are we glad. The servers are friendly and they know their business, attentive without hovering. The food is really good and the portion size is also very good. Now that we have finally tried it we have been back numerous times.

Great seafood. Try the fried platter. The food is always really good. Nice, friendly service. The prices are reasonable. Sometimes there is a little wait when they are busy.

You can tell from the mixed reviews here, that you have to know what you are getting when you go to a place like this. Hudson Bay is a classic southern fish camp. If you don't know what that means, it's not just a restaurant. It exists as a social meeting spot for retirees, locals, and church groups. It's not for seafood connoisseurs because that's not the point.

Hudson Bay is a place where you put your own butter and bacon-bits on your foil-wrapped potato, where they will talk to you for ten minutes about the sweet tea, where they don't fuss if your kids are messy or your crowd is noisy. Most of the patrons come here every week and have been doing so for years, decades even. Hudson Bay is meant to be good, fast, and cheap with generous portions. If you go in expecting those four things, you will be happy.

I love the food there my co-workers and I would visit here or do take out quite often, the food is fresh and hot and hits the spot, cant go back to work once you finish eating, but over all the service is good as well.

I see nothing wrong with hubson bay servers they are great and the food is fantasied my friends and I love the food and the servers I give them a 5 star rating plus

Stood in line 30 minutes. We were a party of 2 there was also 4 more party of 2 in front of us. No one was seated yet they took a party of 5 who just walked in. If that's their idea of customer service they can have it I will never step foot in the restaurant again.

I usually have the senior fried shrimp and baked potato with slaw and hushpuppies for $5.95. It plenty filling and I have found the shrimp to be great! The have a house special with Deviled Crab and fried shrimp. It great too.

The food and price deserve 5+ stars, but the service isn't so good. The food is always good, but the service is bad 2 out of 5 times and only acceptable (not really good) the other times.

My wife and I have eaten at Hudson Bay Seafood in Fayetteville, NC several times. The food is consistently really good. The service is good. The specials leave one full and happy!
