For a quick bite to eat before heading out on our wild horse tour, we found this barbecue joint to be a great choice. The food came out quickly and the portion sizes were perfect for sharing, especially the half chicken with sides like cornbread and mac and cheese. The staff was friendly and the outdoor seating area had a nice, casual vibe - definitely worth a visit for a satisfying meal in the area.

IMHO this is the best barbecue place on the Outer Banks. the meats are slow smoked to delicious perfection and the sides are well done too. Well worth the trip.
