The service was quick and friendly, and the food was tasty and served promptly. I ordered a cheeseburger combo, and while the burger was simple, it had great flavor. I've been a customer here since childhood and will continue to come back. My fiancí©e also enjoyed her cheeseburger on her first visit.

Bring plenty of cash!!! Central Cafe is going to price themselves right out of business. Major price increases in the last 2 weeks. If the "manager" doesn't run the customers away with his "so-what" attitude to the customers and the staff the price increases are going to run customers away.

I agree local. I went in there today and didn't have enough money to pay. I brought what I thought would cover my standard order and low and behold due to the price increases I couldn't get my standard order. WOW!!! Central, what are you doing????? Can't take my family in there anymore, can't afford it.

Charged 65 cent extra for lettuce on my burger and wasn't advised of the extra charge 'till I went to pay my bill. The manager would NOT adjust my bill and was very very rude to me!!! They also charge for soda refills!! It has been 20 - 30 years since I ate at a place that charges for soda refills. What a rip off!!!

best hot dogs and hamburgers in Nash county! I have been going since i was a little girl! and so has my mom! great little whole in the wall with friendly people and great food!
