Attended a Christmas party in the private dining area, which made it a bit challenging for everyone to be together due to the layout with steps. The flounder was perfectly cooked and the squash was flavorful, although I would have preferred pasta if I was feeling more hungry. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his filet, which the restaurant is known for, but wasn't as impressed with the onion rings. The highlight of the evening was the deconstructed carrot cake, with a light sponge and a side of candied nuts and plump raisins for added texture.

Amazing gem in a small historic town. On the Square consistently offers outstanding food paired with the perfect wine and wonderful service. Save your self a trip to NYC and go to On the Square. Big city restaurant in an adorable small town!
