If you like your steak crunchy like a potato chip
this is the place for you. I have never been as disappointed with a meal in years. 3 steaks were ordered, 1 rare, 2 med. rare all came burnt to crisp on the outside and and well overdone. The salad was a "wedge of lettuce" with a enough water still on/in it to float all the salad dressing off. The waitress saw my steak had one bite eaten, smiled and took my plate without a word. I asked for the mgr. He did not charge me for 1 meal
but did charge me for the other 2 half eaten meals. I will not go back.

I've eaten at Old Stone frequently over the past two years and it is one of the great restaurants in this area. The quality of the food, the surroundings and the wait staff is excellent. It has a "home-town" atmosphere with a great menu. I highly recommend it!

I was in Old Stone 3-24-10 having dinner with my fiance, but the little comments that the kitchen had to make made this one of the worst experiences in any restaurant i have ever had. We were eating crab legs and the server to let the kitchen know said i have another re-order for you and he made the comment i know gee thanks. Then later as they were breaking down the kitchen he made the comment again loud enough for us to hear it that he cant do anything else until those people stop eating the crab legs. So i came home and emailed the vice president of old stone and he did not even bother to reply or apologize. I myself serve tables in a fine dining establishment and was a chef in the same fine dining restaurant. If you do not want to take care of the customers as that chef surly did not then he should not be in this business because until the last table leaves happy, people in the service industries job is not over. I do not recommend Old stone to anyone.

Went there and had the Shrimp and Grits. It was the best I have ever had. I have searched all over for a recipe that would even come close and haven't. They put green tabasco around the dish and it makes it wonderful. I know it says Steakhouse. But the Shrimp and Grits are the best and reasonably priced.
