This place is delicious! Homemade, affordable and personable staff. This is one local business I have no problem supporting.

First time here and we ordered carryout. Very long wait for our order but it was a Saturday night. Problem was the overall poor quality of the food and the ridiculous price we had to pay for it. Literally, we could have just microwaved some "Marie Callender's" frozen meals and not known the difference. Portions were miniscule and the salad consisted of iceberg lettuce with a small slice of tomato and a slice of cucumber...that was it! We had hoped for more authentic Italian cooking and this was anything but. I added a star because one family member ordered just meatballs and he said they were fine. Never again.

Top Italian eating. Friendly atmosphere. Good food. Fresh baked bread. Happy they are in my town.

I have been to Jimmy's several times recently and I have always been pleased with the quaility of the food and the excellent service. Portions are huge! I get two meals for the price of one as I always take half my meal home. Although the place is often bustling, there is always good, attentive service. I'm glad to have discovered Jimmys! I have suggested it to several different friends when we are deciding where to eat.

We've eaten probably 15-20 times at Jimmy's Italian Kitchen over the years, including several times since new management a year or more ago. It's one of our favorite local restaurants. We have always had great food and service. In fact we met the owner on our last visit about 2-weeks ago. He was a very nice gentleman and you could tell cared deeply for the restaurant's success and its patrons. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys genuine Italian food at a reasonable price.

Welcome to Jimmy's Italian Restaurant...where the NEW owner simply refuses to assist a customer if they are unhappy with their meal.

Today our family spent $70 for an appalling dinner experience. One of our party members did not like the taste of their meal and raised the issue with his waitress. The kind waitress returned the dish to the kitchen...and then we were introduced to the owner.

The angry owner held the returned dish in front of our party. She said the customer had ordered the item and there was nothing she would do. No apology, no offering to change the dish or remove the item from the bill. She said we will be paying for it and she would box it up so the dissatisfied customer could eat it later!

The owner was extremely confrontational with our entire party. Moreover, she stormed off from the table making comments about our party in front of other patrons and the staff.

In sum, the owner was impolite, hateful and unwilling to provide any level of proper customer service. As a result of the owner's attitude, the entire party lost their appetites, and the evening was ruined.

It is important to note our waitress was polite and apologetic throughout the ordeal. It is disgusting for a server to apologize for the owner's behavior and lack of social skills.

THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT JIMMY'S ITALIAN KITCHEN

1. "Jimmy" is no longer the owner. The restaurant changed ownership a few months ago.

2. This is not an "Italian Kitchen." Italians take great pride in their food with exceptional courtesy and treatment of their customers. This NEW owner does not possess any of these qualities!

3. Expect to eat and pay for your meal -- even if you do not like it. Don't think about asking the owner for help.

4. This restaurant is located in an old "Taco Bell" building. It would be best for the community that "Jimmy's" close and reopen a Taco Bell. At least Taco Bell would provide better customer service and treatment over a $1 burrito than a costly $20 dish.
