Gullah Gullah is a delightful place to eat. I went to see the competition and I can honestly say that the food is great. The waiters and waitress may need some help with training but you find that in all restaurants around town. The Chef is doing great and I am happy for anyone who has the courage to start their own business. Chef, keep your head up, put God first when making any decision about your business and you shall succeed no matter what people say verbally or written. Be Bless.

Gullah Gullah Cuisine has the best food ever hands down!!! Their wine selection is great. The cornbread was so good I asked the waiter to remove the basket from the table. The Walnut Chicken with Strawberry Cream Sauce was excellent. If you don't like this restaurant something is wrong with you!!!! I hope to see Gullah Gullah Cuisine in other states.

Hands down worst restaurant I have been to in North Carolina! I went there for lunch with a group of co-workers and the service was unbelievably SLOW. There were only 8 people in the entire restaurant and it took over an hour to bring out our lunches (one of them was a simple salad). The waitress was incredibly flighty, had zero knowledge of her menu, gave inaccurate descriptions of the dishes, and did not once apologize for the slow service after we repeatedly told her that we were running late for a meeting. The manager was even walking around the restaurant on occasion and never once asked if she could help us with anything – even though we made it very obvious how upset we were. Not to mention, the food was horrible - The shrimp and grits were soggy and the Cajun Rice tasted like it came out of an Uncle Ben’s box. The only thing redeemable about the meal was its cornbread – and the exit. Gullah Gullah gives the low country cuisine a bad reputation.
