The prime rib and baked potato were excellent, although the butter was almost frozen. The service was great, and the restaurant has a dated charm. The seafood and steak were delicious, and the owner, John Taylor, ensures that the food is prepared just right. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous.

I visited John seafood on November 22 2017 .I got a fried oyster dinner. Use ly their oysters are nine and fresh. This time I was very disappointed the oysters were very small and not fresh .this was a take out order
I don't know if it made a difference. It will be awhile be fore I go there again. Very disappointed.

Had the chicken and it was undercooked. The wait staff was slow and parking is terrible!
