Since childhood, this restaurant has been my go-to for fried chicken, especially their 9-piece wingets combo tossed in homemade honey BBQ sauce, which offers tender, crispy, and non-greasy chicken that rivals chain stores. Despite its unconventional location behind a gas station, the fast, polite service and delicious sides like mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and biscuits make it worth the wait whenever I'm in the Smithfield area.

I've been loving Chicken Barn since I was a kid, and that 9-piece winget combo with their homemade Honey BBQ sauce is a must-try! The drive-through might be at a gas station, but trust me, the food is worth it-juicy chicken with perfectly crispy skin and light biscuits. Every time I'm in the area, I can't resist stopping by for some fried chicken and their delicious mac and cheese!
