The food was good the atmosphere was wonderful and then the owner owed the IRS tons of money and it was closed down with no explanation and then burnt to the ground for firefighter training. Short sweet and to the point 😀

This Steakhouse has been closed since Jan. 2010
so don't waste your time tying to find it.

I booked a private room here for my families Christmas party and was not contacted at all to inform me that they would be closed. It would have been nice to have been informed before I drove an hour to meet my family there. We had difficulty finding another place that could accomedate 22 people on a short notice and wasted over an hour of our time. I am writing this review @ 9:20 pm the night of(my reservations were @ 1pm) and I have yet to receive a phone call from the restaurant after I left several messages. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

I was a guest at kelsey's steakhouse the service and food was wonderful. The steaks were just absolutely delicious made with his famous recipe, the seafood was tasty and fresh that also comes with a respectable wine list,and the desserts were just mouthwatering, the peanut butter pie was the best and award winning.There is always varied kinds of entertainment and dinner specials and provides catering for ANY occasion, and does a wonderful job at it.Also,to mention the breakfast buffet is very pleasing. If I were you I would choose Kelsey's at Occoneechee Steakhouse you won't regret it you'll love it.

Myself went to kelsye's at Occoneechee Steakhouse of all the steaks I've had all over, this 8oz ribeye steak was the best i have ever had, the seasoning was great.

Do not eat at this restaurant. I could not stand being in it for long due to its old and dilapidated interior. It is a fire hazard.The food is inedible. Stay away from here.
