Wandering through Saluda, NC, the scent of sizzling sausage and fresh coffee drew me inside Ward's Grill, where the warmth of small-town hospitality and hearty, homemade dishes wrapped around me like a comforting embrace. Each bite of fluffy biscuits smothered in rich gravy and the spicy sage sausage told a story of tradition and care, while the friendly staff and timeless diner charm created a space that felt like a welcome pause from the rush of the world outside.

What a disappointment. We all went to Wards Grill recently and we were so excited because we used to eat there years ago and always had a great time and loved the food. What happened to this place? The food was overcooked, greasy, stale, it was not good. The floor was also dirty. My sister couldn't even finish her meal because of the floors in this place. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
