This place has some seriously delicious homemade ice cream that brings back childhood memories, especially the mint chocolate chip. The retro vibe is charming, and while the service can be hit or miss, the ice cream is totally worth it.

Food is great, though 9/10 times you are sold out of a particular soup. Ever thought of making more??? I've also been waiting on the online menu for MONTHS. C'mon, Spanky's, it's 2013. Get it together. I absolutely love your food, but very rarely eat at your restaurant because I know I'll have to wait 25 mins just for a soup and sandwich, and it won't be my first pick of soup since it is only 1:00 and you are "sold out" step it up!!
