The diner in Oakboro, NC, called Wayside, always delivers delicious meals with great service at good prices. The small-town atmosphere and hometown feel add to the overall experience. The Country Style Steak with mashed potatoes, green beans, fried squash, and cornbread was absolutely delicious, and the friendly waitstaff made the visit even more enjoyable.

Two hamburgers, one hot dog, fries and small salad costed $26!!! One of the worst hamburgers I've ever had! Fries were cold and chewy and hamburger meat was thin and dry.

Poor service. Left me on hold for 10 minutes, then hung up the phone.
