If the Lantern Restaurant was "amazing and the prices were 'so'great. Why did it close just as quick as it opened?

I had breakfast there this morning. I ordered biscuits and gravy. The gravy was cold and they have started serving their biscuits torn in pieces under the gravy. They have not served them this way in the past. It looked like someone else leftovers that had not even been reheated. I will not eat here again and would advise anyone to eat somewhere else.

well I was so disappointed in an old favorite .... I have been visiting the Lantern for years now. Best salad bar in the area , a bit pricey but the staff has always been on point and fun so the atmosphere was good enough that I didnt care But this evening things took a turn for the not so ok. My microwaved potato was cold ( wouldnt melt the butter) they left the fries off my granddaughters meal added mustard to a reuben sandwich(?) the tea was rancid and they just didnt care .... the owner appeared and argued that the tea was fresh the potato was hot and thats how a reuben was supposed to be I know the customer isnt always right ? I also know that life is about choices and I choose to sped my money somewhere else ...

Food was below par, especially for the price. Definitely will not return.
