The atmosphere was inviting and the food, while not extraordinary, was satisfying with highlights like the outstanding hush puppies and flavorful sea scallops. Each visit feels like a nostalgic trip back to my childhood, with friendly service and generous portions that always leave me looking forward to my next meal.

The biggest issue I have is the sanitizing of the tables, sauce bottles, and salt-pepper shakers. Using a damp rag to wipe everything down from table to table with the same rag. Using it to wipe off the table tops to ketchup spouts is terribly unsanitary.
Watching this unsanitary practice repeated from a table where customers were coughing to another table with the same rag and no cleaner being sprayed or even in sight.
Watching the waitstaff passing ketchup bottles from that same table to another one with customers without cleaning it in any manner is extremely unsanitary and disgusting.
In this day and age where sanitary practices can be done easily with little effort and very effective cleaners being available is showing how little the staff care and extreme lax by the owners in keeping up their restaurant.

My mother loves this place! My brother is bringing her from Princeton, West Virginia and we are meeting them at Libby Hill to celebrate her birthday. My son and I are coming from Fayetteville, NC just to be there with her on her birthday! Great food!
