The fried chicken and livers I usually order are consistently delicious. Despite the average sides, I have been a loyal customer since childhood and always prioritize dining here when returning home.

Website stated Sunday through Thursday open til 9:00pm. That is not true. The Henderson location closes when they feel like it, with no regard for the customers. On Wednesday 4/19 @ 8:45pm I was waiting @ the drive through order speaker and not getting any response. Finally a worker, bringing out the garbage, said that "they were closed". NO APPOLIGY! Any decent business takes care of any customer arriving by the posted closing time. I had to drive an extra 3 miles in heavy traffic to go back to Smithfield's to get a meal.

I spent $16 for some dried up -ss chicken gizzards and some nasty looking old coleslaw the plate look like it was sitting out for a whole week and I actually ordered a liver dinner that was my last visit there look like I won't welcome I will never go back there again... sad cause back in the day the food was really good and my parents used to take me there when I was a little kid.

Love there fish dinner! Husband and I try to go every Friday night just to get there fish dinner. I have gotten large servings of food from them for events and was very please.

I love the food at golden skillet but only complain is going thru the drive thru can be a Tad slow.
