Hi Nikki,

Sorry about your experience at Sakuras. Did you check your online account activity the day of the charge? You see, all restaurants are set up to "pre-authorize" an additional percentage toward gratuity when you use a debit card. This is to ensure the cardholder has enough funds in the bank account when adding a tip, whether you leave one or not. It's usually between 20% and 30% depending on the credit card processing company. If you use your credit card this won't happen. However, if you did use your debit card, the pre-auth will fall off in a day or so depending if the charge was done over the weekend.

If this is not the case and we accidently overcharged you, please reply back to sakuraboone@gmail.com so we work this situation out. Please let me know how I can make this situation better.

Make sure you watch your receipt. I ordered two dinners to go and was overcharged. My receipt shows $10.66 but my account was charged $13.00. If I wanted to give $13.00 I would have written more on the tip!!!!! To top it all off they gave less food than Makotos. They claim they give more and at better prices. You're doing doing a good job of proving your case to me!
