The fried chicken here is exceptional, but be prepared for limited hours of operation. After years of living nearby, I've discovered that the seafood served is truly remarkable, with each dish freshly prepared to perfection. While it may not boast a glamorous facade, the warmth of the service and the quality of the food create a memorable dining experience that keeps me coming back for more.

I've eaten here for the past 20 yrs., best seafood I can think of in Wayne/Duplin Counties. I do wish they had fish chowder though. :)

This restaurant has delicious food and is convenient for me(because its close to my job Butterball). The call in service is awesome, I have called in orders for 20 dinners at a time and all orders were ready on pickup. When you go please have some cake it is to die for!!!! Customer service is good and prompt. You must try this place if you haven't already.

Johnny's Seafood is one of the few "Mom&Pop" restaurants around left that has authentic southern hospitality, kind and caring staff and really really good food. If you like deep fried and breaded seafood then you will not be disappointed. Plan on waiting to get seated because the locals and regulars fill up the place quick. The hours are Thursday thru Saturday 10:00am - 2:00pm and 4:00pm -8:00pm. Prices are very reasonable and the menu is not only seafood but also burgers and fries, fried and bbq chicken... hamburger-steak and gravy.. with plenty of sides from which to choose. If you dont find something you dont like to eat then you dont know what good is. I might be partial because this is my family's restaurant. I know what good is because I have had seafood from other places that cant compare. The location is out in the "boonies" but the trip is well worth it once you get to taste this amazing food. There is a private party room available for special events. Just call ahead to set the date.
