At first, I was hesitant to try this restaurant because of some negative reviews, but my craving for Chinese food won out, and I ended up really enjoying the large, flavorful shrimp and the tender boneless spare ribs. The service was fast and friendly, the portions were generous, and with a wide menu and reasonable prices, this has become one of my favorite spots for Chinese takeout in Wilkes County.

So, I checked out Shanghai Express despite some iffy reviews about the shrimp and owners. I'm a big fan of Chinese food, so I decided to give it a shot. The Four Seasons dish was pretty tasty, and the shrimp were a decent size. Overall, not the absolute best Chinese food I've had in Wilkes, but definitely worth a revisit to try out more dishes.

Its a good corner side chinese restraunt
