I was born and raised in the Wilson area and have been eating at Parker's since the mid 1950s and have never had a bad experience there yet.
The food taste the same as when I was eating there back in the day.
I'm not sure what some people are referring to when they complain about their experience there because my family and I look forward to going there to eat.

We visited Parker’s on trip 301. We did takeout the quality of the barbecue has gone way down. The consistency is much finer and they grind up the viseral fat along with some small bone. The taste has also been diminished as well. This is very disappointing. Will not buy it anymore

I worked there as a young boy and the work ethic I gained has proven paramount to my character. Parker's BBQ operates like a well oiled machine as always. The service is second to none! The prices of their products are more than fair. The food is the best and equal to their competitor Marty's. Now there is BBQ and then there is Wilson, North Carolina BBQ which is the best in the world...

Parker's used to be the BEST BBQ PLACE EVER!! My sister and I went to Parker's a few years ago, we were so disappointed because, nothing from the Menu tastes the same. BBQ tasted like ground chicken, bread sticks & Brunswick Stew too salty. Everything was awful. Last time we were home, we ate at Marty's Barbecue, the food was delicious, it tasted like the old Parker's used to taste.

Had not eaten at Parker's in 8 years. Use to be one of my favorite restaurants. Was in town and decided to eat there. The Brunswick stew was not as I remembered it. It was dark brown 2 butterbeans and few kernels corn in it and it reaked of chili powder! Not good at all. I got a child's 1 chicken leg dinner with tea. Asked for a wing bag to go. I almost fainted when I paid as it was 17.00!! One person !! The wing bag was 8.00 and that was not listed on The menu so I didn't know the price but I thought around 5.00! The 5 wings were size of sparrow wings and hard and dry! I was very disappointed in my food and prices. I dont care to go back. Parker's you can treat your customers better than that and warn your customers of over priced items especially when they have to be fed to the cats!

Delicious food always. Always hot. Worth the wait in line. I love the food. I drive 30 minutes just to get me some Parkers bbq and chicken. The vegetables good also.

This Place is worth driving for The guys and team have there sh-t together They all work together and I’m amazed how this place is runed Your tea and food is there in seconds even with a full house The other restaurants in the state ought to take notes on first class service and the food is always on point Only down side is cash only but they have a atm no big deal And what the vendors charge them to swipe a card I do the same So go get you some Parker’s try the seafood also you will be amazed

I just got home with my food the brunswick stew was to salty to eat manager was very disrespectful my slaw was leaking threw the container Al over everything Also none of the employees weren't wearing any mask

Been eating here since they opened. Never had a bad meal. Always a large bar b q dinner with brunswick stew, boiled potatoes, cole slaw and as good of fried chicken as you will find. Anyone who does not like this food would not know good eating if it bit them.

I grew up eating vinegar based BBQ. I live in Columbia, SC now where the BBQ sauce is mustard base. I like it but not as much as eastern NC BBQ. I’m looking forward to my next trip to Parker’s. In my top 10 in the Carolina’s.

Stopped on the way through Wilson to Emerald Isle and had the best BBQ I’ve had in ages. Great service too

Parkers is a weekly routine in our family. My in-laws pick up large orders for the family and distribute to each household every Tuesday as well as dining in while waiting for the order. We love it all - chicken, bbq, fish, veggies, pork skins etc. Thank you Grantis and Papou for driving to Parkers every week from Wendell.

Parkers is great, even better if you can visit and order family style.. Out of this world.
