Our first and last time there. The outside of the building had me questioning if I really wanted to go inside, but we did and it went down hill from there. The interior of the building was dismal, the air conditioning was turned off on a day that was hovering around 84°. We were seated in a booth that had a view of what must have been some kind of atrium that had piles of old booths stacked on top of each other.
The waitress who came to our table was very polite when I asked what was wrong with the air conditioner, she just said "we don't have it on today".
We left without ordering..for a first time experience it was very unpleasant and it is our last time..
We did go to The Red Fox Tavern on the same road and across the street that more than made up for the first time experience of restaurants in Waynesville, NC.

I found this awesome spot that has a great vibe and fantastic food. The atmosphere is super chill, and the service is on point. I think you'll really enjoy it if you check it out!

Waynesville. The wait staff are going through the motions. No personality; just another day doing something they don't care about. I ordered a small Caesar salad. The spinach was not fresh, and the Parmesan was dry and tasteless. with dressing probably from a cheap outlet. like Big Lots. I was also impressed by the piles of junk in a back room that is open to the public. Nothing about the experience was positive. It was a test to determine if I wanted to order a steak there in the future. NOT A CHANCE.
