During my 8.5-month cross-country road trip, I spent a few days at a nearby establishment while waiting for the weather to clear before crossing the mountains. The friendly locals and bartenders created a welcoming atmosphere, and I enjoyed delicious food and valuable recommendations for my journey, making for some wonderful memories.

During my visit to Crazy Woman Saloon on 9/11/14, I stayed at the place across the street for a few days as I waited for the weather to clear before crossing the mountains for the first time in 21 years. I had the pleasure of meeting locals Royce, John, Rory, and Valerie, as well as bartenders Tara and Sabrina, who made a delicious cucumber salad with olive oil, water, and German seasoning with dill. The bar was filled with friendly faces, great advice on places to visit, and amusing wooden sculptures that I captured in plenty of photos before heading out west, cherishing the memories made at Crazy Woman Saloon.
