We found a big on our drink. Deep down in the cup. It was horrible and was then told no person was in charge. Then felt rushed through the whole meal. Will not be back

Lunch for two was $36 with tip.
the staggering prices on a Coke, ice tea and cheese dip was almost the price of the two lunch plates.
Just ridiculous.

We live near Frontera and always attempt to support local businesses in our area, but after our order tonight, I don't think we will visit again. Our recent orders have been pretty bad but this was the worst. We ordered burritos which were soggy, with watery beans on the side, and all of it cold before we drove less than 5 minutes to our home. In addition, the cost was too high! With Taco Mama, Chipotle, and La Brisa all near by, Frontera is not a choice that we will make again.

My family and I have been visiting your restaurant for years and have enjoyed the food and service. I have used your restaurant for catering to my clients and friends spending hundreds of dollars. We recently ordered some of your dipping salsa for take out. Apparently that doesn't come with chips so we paid extra for those. When we got home the dip was so spicy that no one could eat it. It was not the "usual" blend of spices that we had tasted many times before. We called back to see if we could get a replacement thinking that maybe this batch of salsa had been made incorrectly. The answer was a definite NO. I then ask for a refund and the answer was also a definite NO. I explained that I was a long time customer and the salsa was very different than usual and too spicy for anyone in our group to enjoy....and we like reasonably spicy foods. Again, the answer was NO. I also went to the restaurant personally later and appealed to the "manager" regarding my situation requesting a refund or exchange. There was no change in the same person's attitude or explanation as to why our request could not be honored. I explained that the restaurant would be losing me as a long time customer.and I would be letting my friends know about this. There was a no care attitude form this person who obviously had no sense of good customer service. I requested that the owner call me but so far (4 weeks) I have not received a call from anyone. so, I conclude that this is the attitude and policy of La Frontera Grill in Hoover . I will not be visiting this restaurant again or using them for catering services. In case you change your mind about this situation,,,you know how to get in touch .
