My husband and I really like the food at Turmeric Kitchen, but our last visit there a few weeks ago was so unpleasant that we will not be returning. The hostess or manager, whoever she is that served us the past few times, was displaying here typical attitude, which we tried hard to overlook each time. This particular visit was a stormy evening and the power went out. We were prepared to pay cash for the dinner, but she wanted to try the credit card. Their system did take the credit card payment, but she told us very emphatically that she could not give us our military discount. When we asked about it, we understood and were prepared to possibly not get it, but were hit once again with her unpleasant attitude. She also, told us that she didn’t think she could print out a receipt for us, so didn’t even try. No problem, we paid and left. The experience came up in conversation on the drive home and my husband told me that her attitude was the reason he did not tip her. My husband gets texts regarding our purchases and the $47.53 texted purchase amount came to his phone. But, when the charge posted to our bank account, it was for $55.40, so someone, somehow increased our payment! Each time we called Turmeric Kitchen to speak with the owner regarding this, we were asked to call back the next evening. Days later, after not being able to reach the owner, we submitted our complaint through their website, and allowed them a full week to reply. Well, no reply! If you were at the Turmeric Kitchen the evening the power went out, you may want to check your credit card statement!

I found this awesome spot that I think is worth checking out. The vibe is super chill and the food is amazing. You should definitely give it a try sometime!
