Excellent food & service!

Ambiance was inviting so we thought we'd try this restaurant out. Deceptive dining experience.
(Bring back "The Pantry", the former establishment)

Received our requested beverages AFTER the
the meals arrived. My companion's beef liver & onions entree was meager, liver was "paper thin" under the gobs of thick dark brown gravy.
Ironically, he left hungry from "Hungry Eats"!

My fish & chips dinner were inedible and unbelievably strange ... the extremely grease-saturated fish pieces each had uncuttable rubbery hard long sections in center.
(I regularly order fish/chips at many places, NEVER
experience this oddity)
* Server blamed their supplier and admitted they've had prior complaint(s) of same weird issue.
Yet still served???
Was not offered a replacement non-fish meal.

In spite of Hungry Eats appearance, perhaps a Health Inspector should pay a visit?
*A couple in the booth behind us had their 2 pet dogs with them as they (and us) ate.
They were NOT therapy dogs.
(We too are pet lovers/owners, BUT would never dream of bringing our fur babies into an indoor eatery with us!)

PLUS got charged 60 cents for container, wanted to bring home to take photos of the disgusting fish anomaly. However, unable to put photos on this site(?)

Paid for GROSS, insufficient, inedible meals, poor service.
