I love the grilled chicken salad it's full of everything cheese jalapeños, tomatoes, and it's the bomb. And it's right on the price.

Lovely and extremely polite people. Very hometown, down to earth local food. Kind of like going to a friendly neighborhood dinner.

Amazing!!! best tamales ever amazing service super clean and have the nicest workers I will definitely be going back they are very delicious with there flavors and lots of meat you get more than what you pay for !!!

Don't believe the low ratings. This place has great Mexican food and the tamales are the best I have ever had. I lived in McAllen, Texas, which is in south Texas where tamales are available at all Mexican restaurants. They do serve the tamales with some type of sauce, so I ask for the queso sauce, but have them put it on the side in a small bowl.

I eat there each time I drive through Nederland, so stop in and judge for yourself. The enchiladas are good to. Get the ones with the brown chili gravy. I love the queso too, along with their chips.

I don't think you will be disappointed!

I really like the tamales. I bought three dozen today (11-22-13) and the meat was nonexistent, what happened to the quality? Has everyone gone cheap these days.

Employees where very friendly. Had a variety of foods other than tamales, but I have to say HANDS DOWN the BEST TAMALES in town rich with flavor and just enough spice!!! I will most definitely be going back I'm hooked!!!!! Thanks Tamale King!!!!

Mexican food owned by non-hispanics. People were rude and food seem typical Taco Bell. Process beans and rice had no flavor. Never again will I go back
