JD's barbecue in Dickinson offers incredible food and friendly service. The brisket and pulled pork sandwiches are delicious, making every visit enjoyable.

This slaps hard!

I ordered a 2 meat platter with chicken and pork. The chicken was about 3 different colors, pinkish, grayish green and yellow. It didn't taste or smell good so I did not eat it. The sauces are all too sweet and the cornbread tastes like cake its so sweet. I have ordered steak before but it was full of sinew, it tasted good but very hard to chew. To be fair, I have ordered pulled pork a couple of times and it was pretty good if you add some vinegar to it but the multicolored chicken this time has really turned me off for good. I don't want to fear for my safety worrying about eating spoiled food.
