Having tried all the sushi restaurants around here, Sam's stands out for its fresh sushi, talented and friendly chefs who customize orders with artistic skill, generous portions at reasonable prices, excellent service including attentive waitstaff like Dalianna, a growing menu with great lunch specials, tasty dishes such as Teriyaki Salmon, spicy tuna rolls, salmon hand rolls, and yellowtail carpaccio, plus a peaceful, clean environment despite somewhat loud rap music, making it my go-to choice for quality sushi in La Quinta.
