The donuts from the shop on Washington @ Houston St. were good, but my wife's was a bit dry. However, the donut shop across from Brookshire Bros, Home Town Donuts, was exceptional - my apple fritter was one of the best I've ever had, complete with the perfect burnt sugar edges, and my wife loved her donut too. Despite some popular items selling out, we found Home Town Donuts to be our favorite spot in Cleveland, TX.
