The donut shop in Springfield is a favorite spot of mine. The lemon donut and Apple fritter are delicious choices. I used to have reservations about Mel-O-Cream, but they have improved significantly. The donuts are local and tasty, and the shop is clean with friendly staff. The classic glazed rings and chocolate Long Johns are my go-to choices, along with the hot chocolate. Memories of visiting this shop with my grandparents as a child always bring me back.
