Have been there several times and we LOVE the food. We have a tough time deciding what to order because there are so many great choices. Were there on Saturday evening, in fact, and enjoyed everything. We have had some great conversations with the owner, too, about Indian cooking and recipes. He's proud of what he serves and rightfully so! If you don't think you like lamb, try it here. One of our group who didn't think he liked lamb is now a convert.

The food is mediocre. I absolutely believe the reviewer who said he was treated rudely. I went there shartly sfter they opened a few years back. The food was OK. I love spicy food so I asked if they had any hot sause. They gave me some from the kitchen. Cool. A few weeks I went back for their lunch buffet. Again I asked for hot sause. They pointed me to the buffet line and I explained that previously they brought me some nummy heat from the kitchen. The guy then RUDELY tole me, "We don't do that for lunch." WHAT??? My GF would not let me make a scene but I was fuming as I ate the rest of my passable but not special lunch. Other than grabbing some naan to go for an INdian dinner I was making, I have not returned. Maybe that's why the place is always empty. It's very hard for me to write about their rudeness without swearing.

The other poster with a negative review praying for someone to lose their livelihood must be a real copy-paste addict and/or a disgruntled competitor or someone with an agenda. So much hate is not good!

This place has the best tasting Indian food in the area-by a long shot. Authentic Indian food is what will bring me here over and over again.

Absolutely disgusted. My wife and I went there for dinner, and had a terrible experience for the following reasons. We should have known, because there were no other customers there, while all the other restaurants next to it were packed. There was rice and other food strewn across the carpet. We saw the waitress then clean off the table by swiping off all the food onto the carpet. We thought she would then vacuum it up, but nope, the staff kept walking over it. Anyway, after ordering our overpriced small kingfisher beer and a house wine, we ordered our food. My butter chicken tasted a bit stale, but I didn't mention it to my wife till she mentioned that her Malai Kofta was terrible. Then she had me try her rice, which tasted toxic (he said he made it that morning, but it must have been 10 year old rice). I asked the waitress to get us some other rice, but she said that was the only batch available. I then asked her to comp us a naan. The owner then came over, and rudely told us that if we wanted naan, we would have to pay for it, and also said that our 2 for 1 entertainment coupon was not valid "WHY DON'T YOU READ THE FINE PRINT" he said. "NOT VALID DURING SPECIAL EVENTS" (as rude as I've seen anyone). Anyway, we cancelled our naan order, and asked for a box to take our (disgusting) food home in case our neighbor's dog would eat it (he eats anything). He wanted nothing to do with it. I was as rude to him, and told him that I would write a scathing report in all the rating services I could find, as well as complain to the health department. Lastly, as an Indian from Bombay, I was disgusted that a jerk like him represents Indians in America. I hope his business fails.
