Deciding to dine at Torreyana Grill at Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines was a spur-of-the-moment choice, and boy, did it come with its rollercoaster of flavors. The Crab Cake was a hit, the Rib Eye Steak was a definite win, but the Sea Bass dishes left us feeling a bit adrift. Despite the mixed bag of dishes, the attentive staff and serene atmosphere made for an overall pleasant dining experience.
