Amazing food amazing service

My grandmother lived in Luling and when we visited her, my father would head straight City Market. I was 5 yrs old when I first ate a sausage ring. I had never tasted anything so good. Whenever I went back to Luling I would get some sausage. I'm 74 yrs old now and live in Atlanta, but I plan to go there one more time.

I love the market i have been coming there since a young girl with my mother and now i am grown woman i still love coming to the market great food and staff is really awesome i rate 5 star

I visited the city market on Saturday afternoon, I purchased a box of sausage, a pound of rib and a pound of brisket. I was disappointed in the brisket I purchased. It was dry, and they gave me parts of the end of the brisket that was dry and burned black. Please make sure you check your purchase before leaving.

I live 40 miles on the other side of Houston( towards Beaumont).I drive right by the city market in Houston ,to go to Luling to get my barbecue fix. When I go, I always have orders from my friends and family to get them some also. Nothing can compare to the sauce and sausage in the original city market!!

Been eating there since I was 7, when they first opened. Traveled all 48 and Canada, tried 1000's of BBQ joints. City Market in Luling, Texas best, hands down, 5 stars plus.

Their Brisket, Ribs & Sausage AND Sauce are (hands down) the BEST you will find anywhere... None can compare to the Original City Market in Luling, TX.! ! ! You know they are doing something right (Open since 1958) While others come & go, City Market is still in business! Thank you Ellis family!

Great BQ. I loved the sausage, and I really don't like sausage. Expect a very long line over the weekend, but it's well worth the wait!
