There's nothing quite like the aroma of a bakery wafting through the air, and Waukegan, IL has an abundance of them. I was thrilled to discover a spot that uses fewer eggs in their pastries, which means no overpowering egg smell, and even after four days in an airtight container, they stayed soft and delicious-all for just $4.50 for five pastries, even if they don't carry churros or enredos.
