Low grade, over-priced dog food

Very disappointing. Went just after it opened and was not impressed. Decided to give it a second try and void was even more disappointing. Was a frequent patron of the original and was very excited to have Three Gringos back. Guess not. Guacamole brown, chips and salsa mediocre, quality of meat in baby burro unimpressive.....atmosphere not inviting!

Guess you really can't go back

I could not wait for 3 Gringos to open back up, you know same menu same food. .I always got the Chili Rellenos covered in green sauce. I had a friend meet me there and t0ld him how good the food would be. I ended up being embarrassed..I had not eaten all day, saving myself so I ordered 2 of them..A relleno from the real Gringos would be fried but soft stuffed with melted cheese and cover over ,half the plate..I was given my plate and wanted to cry..For almost $10.00 I had on my plate 2 fried hard things the size of small egg rolls, with maybe a tablespoon of the green sauce. This restaurant advertised 3 Gringos menu and recipe not even close. Since we were still hungry (unheard of in a Mexican restaurant) we ordered dessert. I can't remember what it was called but cinnamon sticks dipped in chocolate the waitress brought it to us and the chocolate was almost boiling. I told her someone is really going to burn their mouth on that if they aren't paying attention it was too hot. She just stepped back and smiled at me. I am sure anyone who goes there once will not go back a second time. It did get one star because the chips at least were good

Horrible time, waited an hour for a table, place is way to small. Worst mexican food I have ever had. No seasonings at all. Ground beef in enchalada was hard as a rock. Chicken was just boiled chicken. I get better salsa and chips at Aldis. Salad was straight out of the bag, nothing special. Big disappointment, was really looking forward again to 3 Gringos. Not owed by same family. Pretty strange to see people getting up from the bar with pitchers of drinks and taking them out the door into their connecting restaurant. Wont being going back.
