Balaton in Chesterland turned out to be a fantastic surprise, especially after my less-than-stellar experience at the Shaker Square location. The food was absolutely delicious, with standout dishes like the chicken paprikash and the Hungarian Platter, which transported me back to my childhood. The cozy vibe and attentive service made for a wonderful evening, and I can't wait to go back for more!

This was my second time eating at this location.
We have been patrons of Balaton back when they were on buckeye, and then Shaker Square.
The quality of the food is exceptional as always. Dont miss the Neapolitan dessert !! the owners and staff are exceptional people! 5 Star.

Love balaton food and bakery delicious . Owners are so friendly and love seeing a repeat customer. Glad I have a new takeout addiction close to my home best of luck at your new location I know your business well from the old neighborhood. Thank you.

I am so happy to have Balaton in the neighborhood! I was calling to order as soon as I saw the sign!
I patiently waited for a couple weeks and it was worth the anticipation!
Everything is so delicious, not to mention fresh with the unmistakable taste of a home cooked meal made with happiness & love!
Christna and Vivian are so helpful & wonderful and make you feel like a family member coming back home!
I will definitely be a regular patron!

We have eaten here several times and find the food
To be mediocre at best. This past Christmas our gen society
Had dinner here. Service was not good and the spatzle
Was cold. Then we had another group dinner and even
Though dessert was inc it was never served nor offered
Cleveland has better East European restaurants
