After dodging the virtue signalers at the pho place, I wandered into a dimly lit, almost speakeasy-like atmosphere that felt like a hidden retreat. The bald-headed manager greeted me warmly, and soon I was enjoying a big local beer alongside some of the best wings I've ever had. Though the ambiance could use a refresh, the casual environment, excellent service, and fantastic food made for a memorable experience that I'll definitely revisit.
